This is a quirky Art Deco multi fuel burner cast by the
Belgian company Ciney in the Walloon district. It dates
from sometime in the 1930's/1940's. It is in excellent
condition, as you will see from the photos. The enamel is
in excellent condition and is a beautiful pale blue.
It's quite a lump and subsequently very heavy! It size
means that it will fit quite well into any larger sized
fireplace, and heat a larger room than many antique
stoves. It's look is pure Art Deco which is quite popular,
and will enhance any room in your home. When you lift the
enamelled lid there is a hotplate which is always handy!
Fuel is loaded through the top hatch which makes this
stove highly useable. There are one or two chips to the
enamel, commensurate with age and use.
Please note that the mica windows are in excellent
condition and will give years of use if looked after.
This is indeed a rare opportunity for Art Deco lovers to
own a stunning, living breathing, original piece of
furniture, that can heat your home and keep your food warm
at the same time!
